Easy straightening with Invisalign in Golders Green

Step 1

It all begins with a case assessment. Our accredited provider of Invisalign in Golders Green is Dr Sanaz Tehrani. She will take a set of photos of your teeth, from which she will be able to determine whether Invisalign is the right device for your teeth. Invisalign is great but there are some issues that are outside its remit. If you are a suitable candidate, it’s time for Step 2.

Step 2

We will take detailed measurements of your teeth, using x-rays, scans and possibly putty impressions. We can then use this information to build up a digital 3D image of your teeth. We can manipulate the image to show you how your teeth will move to become aligned and what they will look like when they are straight.

All this information goes off to the Invisalign lab in the USA, where your bespoke aligners will be manufactured.

Step 3

Once we have received your aligners, we can start treatment. We will show you how to put in and remove your aligners before sending you home with them. You need to wear them for 22 hours a day for treatment to remain on schedule, removing them only for eating and cleaning your teeth. This no-hassle method of treatment means eating has as much freedom as ever and cleaning is just like before too.

Step 4

Every 4-6 weeks, you’ll need to pop back in to see Dr Tehrani so that she can keep an eye on your progress and give you the next few aligners. When your teeth are straight, which takes a year on average, you will need to wear a retainer to keep them in place.
